Browser video capture

Record walkthrough videos and step PNGs of a website with Playwright.

Record a browser walkthrough as WebM plus optional step PNGs:

--walkthrough uses the Arka web dashboard preset (Chat → Skills → Status). Set ARKA_WALKTHROUGH_URL to override the default dev URL (http://127.0.0.1:5173).

Custom step lists load from JSON:

arka capture video https://example.com --actions steps.json

Each step is an object with a type field: goto, click, wait, press, or screenshot. Use --no-video for PNG-only captures or --no-screenshots for video-only output.

Install the browser runtime once:

pip install playwright
arka "playwright install chromium"

Natural-language routing also works:

arka route "record a walkthrough video of https://example.com"
arka route "capture walkthrough of the arka web dashboard"

Note: Arka MCP browser skills still return PNGs only. Use the CLI or recordings/page-walkthrough/walkthrough.py when you need MP4/WebM artifacts.
